This CD is great.What songs I like on this CD:-Hakuna Matata (from Lion King)That part of Lion King when Simba met Timon and Pumbaa.Do you know Hakuna Matata means no worries.-Little April Shower (from Bambi)This song is from Bambi.This song was after when Bambi met his friend Flower.-Mickey Mouse MarchI loved that song when I was younger, this song kinda brings back memories.I might buy a copy of this album one of these days.
Not all of the Disney CDs are like this. One more thing, these are all the original songs, i.e. As an old-timer, I enjoy hearing the old songs too. Be sure you know what you are getting for artists if you get other Disney CDs. Not sure if boys would like it, but I'm guessing they would too. We bought volume 1 and 2.
Anyway, the girls like most of the contemporary songs and sometimes want us to skip past the older "movie" songs, but for the most part every song is great. the music isn't redone by some other artist. The only problem is that our kids (1 and 3 girls) want to listen to this ALL the time. Well worth the money for long trips (tons better listening to this music than some of the annoying CDs being put out for toddlers) and for short trips as well. Finally, shipping was very quick too. Well, that's not true.they flip flop between Volume 1 and 2 all the time.
So, you cannot go wrong with volumes 1 and 2.
It's improving her speech and vocabulary. My daughter and I (and friends) have shared this CD and loved every moment of it. We are having a ball. I recommend all three volumes to anyone with children or who is still a "kid" at heart. We also have Volumes 1 & 3 so we get to sing all of her favorite Disney movie tunes as well as the ones that I grew up listening to. My daughter just turned 2 and she is singing up a storm.
We own number 1 also and are happy with both purchases. Daughter really likes this album. Good way to hear songs from movies we have not seen either.
